With quite a bit of my assistance, the little polish chick has made it out, and is drying in the newly set-up brooder!
The little chick was shrink-wrapped inside the shell the whole while I was at Grandma's, with its wing plastered over the side of its face. With some warm water and gentle peeling, I got her out, and she's doing much better now, though there is still some membrane stuck to her wing---I'm working on getting that off.
She's a little white-crested black polish chick, just as I guessed. :) I'll post pictures soon as she's all-fluff.
As for the other eggs...no action since early this morning/afternoon.
