These are a few pictures of the new chickens in the pen they stayed in yesterday afternoon. Today, they're out free-ranging on the grass in the chicken lot, and loving it. Nobody had any trouble in the Big Coop last night, though they are eager to get out and away from our birds.
The rooster, (the tall one,) is doing a very fine job keeping up with his ladies, and his ladies are doing a very fine job staying loyal to him. I've seen three little fights between the new hens, and our roosters so far.
I think they're happy. :)
