What I do in my spare time...

Luckily, I have a lot of it!

Rose loves the camera! While on the porch at Grandma's house, she begged to have her picture taken as much as Fletcher was!
So Mom took her picture, then went ahead to take pictures of the rest of us! (Zeb excluded, he was being elusive.)

 Willow likes the camera too.
She's all into braiding her hair, or putting it in a bun, and posing for the next beauty shoot!

Indy doesn't mind it either! See, these sisters of mine are quite photogenic. (She was really rocking the colored hair!)

Now I, on the other hand, am not the most photogenic sort of person. My first impression when a camera lens turns towards me, is to make a face, play with my hair, and die out laughing!

I giggle, then grit my teeth in a grimace and cackle.
It's a frightening sight!

A sight that Quinn thinks is highly ridiculous!

Fletcher's Crawling!
6/26/2011 | Author:
The little man, Fletcher, has made a major breakthrough!
While at Grandma's, he discovered the art of crawling.
Give him a couple days and he's going to be all over the place!

 Fletcher loves Dolly and Jill.

It's a good thing: they love him too!

So they aren't real, but they're pretty right?
Certainly shiny anyways. These winged garden ornaments reside at my Grandma's: where we spent most of our day today!

You can't have everything in life; it's a sad, but true fact.
A fact that perfectly explains why a lot of people just don't have the style this trio of chickens does.
They're gifted: pure eye-candy among the styling world of hair-driers and mousse.

But they don't have opposable thumbs, so that's where the penny falls.

This is a healthy looking chicken.
A nice little partridge rock---a McMurray hen---sitting in Mom's peach tree, with the regalia of the mythical phoenix.

When I say healthy, I mean fat. So, unless there's a fat, mythical phoenix out there, somewhere---I take back my former statement.

Green Eyes

Nobody can show off some pretty eyes like a cat can!

Here's Ghost, from last year:

Cricket, this past winter:

And Smokey, whose pictures I took just a few minutes ago:

He's got some green eyes! I really would love a nice close-up, but can't get him to stay still long enough!
All he wants to do is cuddle. :) He's a real tough-guy like that.

Indiana also got a new haircut today! It looks great, and so cool with the blue (correction: blue-ish/green) streaks!

Nearly a Decade

The 22nd was Willow's 9th birthday. She came home after spending a few days with Indiana up at the Lake.
We had ice-cream cake, cupcakes, root-beer and ginger-al! She got lots of cool presents, and had a great time playing with cousins and siblings.

Zelda and I came back from our little stay at Grandma's then (we had a great time there!) and I was wearing a dress, which I think surprised a few people.

Fletcher had a great time; he was smiling, and laughing nearly the whole while. He's really been working on his crawl lately, and almost has it down!

Willow asked for Extreme Pizza goldfish crackers, beef jerky, and fairy dolls! She got all of that, and also a really cool Wii game, and some money.

Such a good picture of cousin Garret, Willow, and Indy!

Happy Birthday Willow! :)
