A Update

Today me and Quinn came home from our Grandma's---bringing Jordan, and his mom and brother with us. Ethan and Aunt Susie hung around a bit to visit, and such, and then headed back to TN.

Jordan's staying though, to spend the night. Then tomorrow he'll be going back around Grandma's place to go shopping for clothes and things---but we'll see them again, from what I understand, we're having a bit of a cook-out Saturday, and they'll be coming, along with the Madewell family. :) Should be fun.

Today me/Jordan have started reading my new PSYCH book. Yes, they make books. Actual, honest-to-goodness books based on the TV series. The one I got is called PSYCH: A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Read. So far it's pretty good, I was worried that it wouldn't be, because, well, it's based on a TV series, and some of the reviews haven't been good, but for a die-harder fans like me and Jordan, it's the bomb, and we've been taking turns reading it.

Also I started a Monk book, also based on the TV series, they have a couple of them also, and the one I have is called the Blue Flu. It's pretty good also.  :)

Among doing a few other small things, like being shot repeatedly by Jordan with one of Indy's Nerf guns, tackling Jordan, walking back and forth from the chicken-lot while taking care of transporting baby chicks/ducklings to a different pens, we've pretty much been chilling.

Mom got some new camera lens in, and I'm dying to play with them---but she won't let me until she does, and when she decided to pull them out, the camera turned out to have a very, very low battery---and died. Haha. So it's charging, and she'll probably tug it out tomorrow.

All my critters are doing good, and I really appreciate my family taking care of them while I was gone. Right when I got home today I ran around and cleaned the bathroom, and my bedroom, but I still need to clean the one brooder I have left in my room, Cody's cage, and Norbert's cage. I'm thinking that'll all probably happen after Jordan leaves tomorrow, or Saturday, which my mom says will be a coop-cleaning day, along with the cook-out that would happen later.

I candled all my incubating eggs today, and threw out four of the Survivor eggs (I like to call them zombies, turns out, they were infected) and have kept all the rest, which is six +the 26 eggs I got in the mail---18 lavender ameraucana bantam eggs, and eight BBS LF orpingtons.

One of the Auction/Survivor eggs (LF white ameraucana) seems to be partway alive, and dead. My first thought when I last candled them was that it wouldn't make it, but it seems to have developed a bit since then, so I'm going to leave it for a while longer. We'll have to see!
I'm thinking I might one day get some pumpkin hulsey hatching eggs from a friend of my Mom's, maybe just around 6-8. Right now, my bator is a bit full, and I think I just have money burning in my pocket/wallet. (Depends on where I have it, you know.) ^^
