I actually got up pretty early today, and played with the new ducklings and my chicks for a while, then went to take care of the big birds, the big ducks, the bigger chicks, and the goats. Dolly and Zelda went with me.
We moved the chicks from the main brooder outside yesterday evening just before dinner. They seemed mildly horrified, but are getting used to it.
After letting everybody out of the coops (little chicks got to stay in their pen) me and Dolly went around the lot, climbed on the fallen pine a little, and took pictures of the sun rising.

Also this morning I took out the auto-turner in my incubator, and umped the humidity. Time for lock-down! I'm going to try and turn the dozen eggs from the Lake by hand a few times, since they're older, but not often because I want to temperature/humidity to stay real steady for the nearly-ready-to-hatch eggs. Fingers crossed! We only have a few more days to go.
