So, Twyla's got a new friend now, her little sister Akiko, who looks exactly like her, except that Twyla has some feathering down her shanks, and Akiko doesn't. Akiko, has a little beard, but Twyla doesn't.
They are the cutest little things, and like I said, are sisters. From the same hen, at least. Twyla's egg was laid a day before Akiko's, so it makes since that it would be the same hen. They both look like sweet little game crosses...and I'm thinking their father is probably a Easter Egger (EE), or a mix of more then one rooster.
Akiko hatched yesterday evening, and is now all fluff today, and is already starting to tag after the big lady chick Diana (who I keep saying is a game, just to sum it up...but recent ideas say she could be a speckled Sussex.)
