It is very, very cold this morning, but guess what? We already have three eggs and counting in the chicken coops! They are certainly laying again: yesterday we got fifteen, and there are twelve eggs in one of the empty pigeon cages...I was hoping somebody would cover them. We have two broody gamehens in the Big Coop, so I might try and move one to the pigeon cage...you never know, she might try to hatch them!

Also, some time last night the next egg in line to hatch in my incubator piped! It's got two tiny little cracks where the shell is coming up, I bet if it doesn't come out this afternoon, it'll be out tonight! I'm very excited---its the egg that Zeb threw into the brooder, and I thought might not hatch...go figure.
