I went out to burn some more stuff today, and was joined, as always, by Pirate, who's back out and running around with the other chickens, (just not in the lot!)
His comb and face still looks a bit rough, but he's still getting back into the pecking-order, so, all things considered he's doing pretty good.
His feathers are back in shape, anyways.
When I went to put away the blowtorch, I attempted trying to get a picture of Cortana, however, I didn't manage to get a very good one.
She's been sleeping away these cold days, and apparently has quite the stash of corn in her nest-box.
On another subject, it is supposed to snow again tonight---goodness. I'm ready for spring now, but they're predicting around 2 inches! We'll just have to see....
