Baby chicks came in this morning!
My mom got a call from the PO at about 6 am, and texted me to get me up. I was already dressed, having woken up at 3, getting dressed, reading, then finally falling back asleep at 5:40, thinking that they were not going to come. The PO normally calls around 5:00, you see.
All chicks were healthy, but for one little buff-colored runt, that didn't make it, and died a while after we got home. We got quite the collection of birds, and a lot of beautifully-marked chipmunk-type birds, along with my bantams, most of which are extra tiny, and quite feisty.
In Mom's brown egg-layer assortment, I've already found some silver-laced wyandottes, at least one RIR, and some partridge rocks, which are gorgeous, with a very handsome dark brown color, with markings.
We also seem to have two white giants, and a mixture of buff-colored chicks that could be a lot of things; they could grow white, or yellow, and all look the same, so it's hard to tell. I know they are not leghorns, though, because leghorns lay white eggs.
When I was shifting the chicks into the brooder, I was stunned to see that we got two turken naked-necks! I was so surprised, and started cracking up. They look kinda silly, since they have no feathers on their necks. One is a buff-ish, light orange, and the other is black with white wing-tips and face specks.
Among them, we got three WCBP chicks; two that we ordered, and the other is our rare chick. David came by just a little bit ago with his mom, and picked one out to keep. He named her Squirt, and is already bonded to him, from what I hear. Quinn decided to take in one of the others, though she hasn't named it yet. Both hers, and the last WCBP stay with my bantams, since they are so small compared to some of the other chicks in Mom's brooder---like the two buff cochin pullets we got, for instance.
In sort, we got lots of chicks, and still have a lot of chipmunk chicks that I cannot figure out for sure what they are---we'll keep trying, and it's sure to be exciting watching these guys grow and feather-out!
Now, here are some pictures of the main brood:

Now, it seems that I'm having some issues uploading pictures (something about my upload-album being full,) so until I get that fixed, y'all with have to wait for more pictures.
