Little Miss Dolly is staying with me again.
Here she is, looking so pretty with her nice mohawk.

Here's my doggie, looking so pretty-ish in her laziness.

Cody! Chowing down on some ratty food.

Hm. I wasn't too sure what to make of this.

Master Chief!

The Lightning Rat!

But, no, really: Master Chief.
Named after a Spartan from Halo -is quite fast -and so is Cody.

Now to compare the Spartan and Rat:

Master Chief.

Master Chief.

Can't you just see the resemblance?
And the Owner has been Found!

Yesterday the Owner to these two lost parakeets was found -she came and picked them up sometime while I was gone during my Civil Air Patrol meeting.

She told us that they are indeed a breeding pair, and their names are Fruity and Pebbles.
(I was calling them Rush and Fawkes.)

My Mom says you could tell they new who she was, and they let her pet them and hold them -something I never got too close to doing.

The Owner was very, very happy to see her birds again.
I'm just glad we could help! They could have been eaten or killed, but they found a home in which people inside of feed them and crooned over them.

Live long and Prosper little birds!

And Rush, I will never forget you! The scars on my hand will forever remind me!
Woot! I Made a Picture!

A picture I just finished on PhotoShop. I was working on clouds at first-then grass, and flowers, then I made a sun!
Ta-dah!

I did it all from scratch -and I say, it's about that nice outside at out house today -so hot and sunny; the only problem is the nats.
They-are-everywhere!

We now have TWO Sun Parakeets, also called Sun Conures.
They are small parrots from South America, are endangered, and cost about 800 to 100 dollars in a store.
They are said to be some of the most intelligent parrots, though they don't talk much.
They are quite loud for their size, and are very pretty.

(I haven't uploaded pictures yet, but I will soon!)

I was upstairs bathing Zeb and Rose while Quinn went downstairs to do something.... And I heard a lot of yelling. Then suddenly, Dad calls me down to come take some pictures with Mom's camera, there are parrots in our backyard.
So I'm thinking, "What?" I run downstairs while Quinn goes to take over bath-time; and I look outside, sure enough, on a tall tree in our backyard, are two yellow/orange/blue/green parrots.
I get the camera and start snapping away -though the pictures all seemed blurry -then, they fly onto our back deck, standing on the rails, staring at us!
I was taking more pictures, then the cats noticed -and you know them birds almost became supper.
We got the cats inside, while the birds flew into another tree. They swirled around a bit, flying onto our jungle-gym, etc. Then they came back onto our porch.
They were squawking and chattering, then they looked and flew down to the ground and just hopped around. Dad tossed some feed down there, and they pecked around a bit, not really going anywhere.
My dad walks down there with more seed and feeds them right out of his hand! Then he grabs them both, sticks them in Sandy's old cage -and Ta-da! We now have two endangered parrots.
As soon as Dad caught them I went to find out what type they were: Sun Parakeets.
We told my Mom, who was out eating dinner with some friends, and she went to buy some feed at the pet-store.

Anyway.
They are eating and drinking fine; they seem to be a little mad at us...one of them squeals at us if we get close to the cage....
We are trying to find their owners, because they seem fairly tame, and are not wild around here. Though I have seen them at the pet-store before.
800 dollars to 1000. Firm.
Just a little bag of feed for them was 20 bucks.

That's a lot of money in bird!

I will uplaod pictures soon, but here is one from the internet, so you get the idea of what they look like:

I'm so pleased with myself!
I've been working on re-designing my dragon Thunderhawk. He is -was -the deputy of StormTribe in the story I -kinda -write.
He was gold-yellow with icy blue-gray eyes.
I was thinking I should work on his 'new' eye style. And I have a tablet....
So I found a reference and used it to get the base idea, how to do the shading, etc, on the drawing.
My final work:

I'm tickled pink!
(Lol.)
I love it!

My only dislike about this is the bottom highlight slightly to the left of the center-image...
After I drew it -I couldn't gte it to go away!
Stinkin' thing.
