We've been enduring some very dreary weather -today our creek (AKA the 'crick') is flooded, and moving quite fast.
Half -O.K, so, not quite half, but a lot -of our chicken lot is flooded, and covered in a massive puddle of freezing cold water.
It's still raining too -my goats are NOT happy....
Dolly is doing great, and is still acting the 'Tough Dawg' role of our little pack. She's right now in my lap asleep, exhausted after a long day of barking at a large plastic bag in our front yard.
I think it got washed up from the creek, and the other doggies were playing with it.
Dolly got some new dog food yesterday -stuff that should be easy on her tummy (as she was throwing up a awful lot, I think she's been eating some -ahh -dead things from outside, like old mice and stuff that Ghost hunts, eats, then leaves)
She really likes her new food, and has not been sick again yet -which is good.

We got a microscope in yesterday, and I went down to the pond to get some water to look at -it was really fun! We found some cool things! I forgot what their called -so just -take my word for it -eh?
I also got some (dead) 'critters' that I'm going to get to open up and look inside for my Biology. That should be fun. I got a frog, a perch, an earthworm, and a -um -I've forgotten what the other thing is -and I'd hate to get up and wake Dolly... so anyway!

I'm going to be getting my rat kittens in the next few days!
I'm soooooo excited!
The Breeder E-mailed me and told me that my ratlets were doing a lot better then she thought they would -they've grown fast, and their healthy....
Monique Kitts is going to pick them up for me -tomorrow(?) and keep them over the night -then when she comes in town she's going to bring them here to my house! It's sooooo nice of her -and her family -for doing this for me!
I thought I would have to wait for a least two more weeks -but ha! ^-^
In other news -the Percy Jackson and the Olympians (The Lightning Thief) movie is coming out (I think) on the 15th.
I hope we can go see it some time -I really enjoyed the books....
All and all -we are doing quite well!
