The snow is still here! And it's still fluffy!
We went out and sledded on boxes for a little while this morning -well, I didn't, I sledded down the hill in a wagon, just once, then I came inside.
I'd seen enough -I play in the snow some when I take care of chickens, and it's cold out there!
Cody and Johnny are doing great, they are so playful RIGHT when I'm going to bed, I'll hold them, and they'll run around. They sleep pretty good during the night, and don't make much noise at all.
(Compared to Quinn's rat, Peach.)
Cody is not very shy anymore, now he's the more playful one! Master Chief -Johnny -has already gained weight, I think he takes his brother's share of the food.
^-^
Their very silly little things. I love them to death!
Norbert is doing great too! His eyes open when he's ready to eat, but he's been sleeping most of the time, because it's so cold.
But I'll take him out and I'll hold him -tell him how handsome he is, and stroke his scales.
I don't bring him downstairs much anymore because one time I was walking down the stairs and he was on my shoulder, he only had one eye open at the time -and he walked straight off my shoulder, I managed to get him to fall onto my hands, but he just about gave me a heart-attack. So now, if I do take him downstairs, I hold him flat against my chest. He had better NOT do that again.
Now -I've had a long talk with him, (weird I know,) but he just doesn't understand that he is a Bearded Dragon, not a Flying Lizard.
And, he has eye trouble, half the time he's blind!
Goofy thing.
^-^
Dolly is doing great -as always. She was something else last night, trying to get under my covers. (It was COLD in my room!)
I even put her nice, warm blanket on Zelda's dog-bed, (because Zelda was in her crate,) and she got down there and lay down for a while, but that didn't last long!
The chickens are doing fine too -they don't like all the snow, so they stay in their coops most of the time.
My goats really DON"T LIKE THE SNOW!
They only come out of their coop to get a quick drink and to eat in the morning. Which is a shame because they are so cute this time of year, with their winter coats, and all.
