I went outside and took some more pictures today.

Ghost just likes having his picture taken. I can tell.

He just pretends to be uninterested.

The clover here is blooming...finally.

Buut, the clover still has to fight the dandelions of doom!

We have lots of tiny wildflowers here.
Pink ones, purple ones, blue ones, yella ones, white ones, red ones, orange ones.
And my favorite:
green ones.
No, wait, those would be the grass.
Or are they....

We cleaned out the chicken/goat coops today.
We went inside and feasted upon soem very yummy cookies -thanks Momma! -then I went outside shortly after and took some pictures!

The chickens we have been letting out during the day -and here is my baby rooster Snowy and two of his ladies.

I'm very proud of this boy -he's doing very well in the pecking order. And he's such a pretty boy. With his handsome tail feathers and bright red comb.

I like taking pictures of dandilions. Sorry!

Back to the critters -

Anybody remember Diamond? The little white chick that was -is -my favorite of our last clutch of chicks?
She's turned into a beautiful young lass -just look at her nice buff feathers!

Here's two of her sisters:
Our buff polish.
Her feather-head is looking pretty good!
She's quite proud of it, you should she her strut....

One of our Cuckuo Maran chicks.
These birds peck -at -every -thing!
The ground, the air, poop, my feet, eachother, my toes, the fence, my hands...you get the point.

 I am sorry.
But this rooster is to darn cute.

He's our big-boy rooster. His name is M&Ms. Which is not a very tough sounding name.
He gets teased about it. He told me.
I told him to suck it up.
Now he ignores me.
True story.

My baby boy Tonks. He's doing really good. And is high in the pecking order now-a-days. Which surprises me because he is blind in one eye, and tiny.
Very tiny.
He's a sweet-heart though.

Our big ducks!

 Our baby ducks!
Walking in their little row...how cute!
That's Gavin, lagging behind. I think Gavin is a hen. Though I have my doubts about the other four. They all look pretty big to be females....

 Hermione!
I found her hiding in her spool chewing cud.
 There is my proof.

Hahah. :)
For some reason -with goats -food is always better the second time 'round.

 (Bad picture, sorry!)
My bantam Jellybean. Her eggs should be hatching soon!
I've been watching them carefully, candling them, and everything.
They look pretty good, though some seem to be a little behind. Which could be a problem if she has to take care of the older ones....

She's ready for them to hatch -though, as am I.
She's got that concentrated look, now.

Leia was hiding in the spool also -though she's just watching me....

The baby ducks.
All resting together...
Awww.
^-^

I end this post with a picture of Duke.
Looking like a total genius.
Poor dog.
You just gotta love him!

Hey! Guess what? I just remembered that I have pictures from this hike I went on with Andrew and Michael around -I think -two weeks ago!
I was going to do a Blog post the day after -but I...um...forgot. And just re-found my pictures!

So yeah, anyway.
Andrew invited me to go on a hike with his church, himself, and his brothers.
It was really fun, too! Quite a few miles long, I believe, and we hiked up and down this ridge, and then to a waterfall!

So this is Andrew.
The only one who would properly let me take his picture.
A have one of Michael 'smiling' but I'm kind enough not to put it on my Blog.
He was making a strange face.
Yup.
But! I am cruel enough to put this picture of him on here:

For the record the little rock he was throwing at me did not reach me.
Or even get near me.
Ha!

We had pine-cone fights half the hike.
Me, Michael, and Andrew.

Why is this darn picture upside down?
But -if you'll tilt your head -you can see that those are some flowers I found while walking.

There is our group -and Michael, on the other side. Me and Andrew were down by the water.
I got wet.
'Cause I'm gifted.
Really! Ask anyone!
^-^

I brought home some neat rocks. there were all these really smooth rocks under the water where they were tossed of by the waterfalls.  I got wet getting some to skip, and kept a few for the trouble.
That's another thing I'm good at -skipping rocks into things...I almost purposefully accidentally hit Andrew....sorry about that! (I wasn't actually trying to hit you. Mostly. ;) )

I had a few videos, but for some reason I can't up load them....

But, in conclusion, I had a really great time!

^-^

We went to my grandparents' house yesterday.
And I took pictures! :)

Birdhouse!

Ooooo, fountain-thingy.

A skull!

Water drops!

Dolly!
Look at her little beard! :)

Such a pretty dawg.

Hm.
No people pictures.... Ah well. :)
Anyways! I hope you enjoyed those photos!

Everything is going good here; the baby ducks and chicks are doing well -they are now running around the chicken lot with the other birds and my goats.

My bantam hen Jellybean is sitting on 5 eggs, all fertile! Hopefully they will be hatching in the next week or so.
We also have a gamebird sitting -Willow calls her Sun -she's on 1 'duck' egg. This egg is fertile, and is way behind Jellybean's eggs (I have candled them,) and she started sitting way before my bantam, which makes us think she has a duck egg. And -well -we found the egg on the ground.
^-^
Hopefully we'll have some more baby birds so!
*Cheers*

I have also decided to start running again.
Starting today.
Hopefully.
*Coughs*

I'm going to try to do two miles today.
But first, we must concentrate on worming our doggies.
Mom has just confirmed that Duke has tapeworms.
Great -eh?
It probably has something to do with all the dogs chewing on an old beaver carcass....
Bleh.

I bought 7 new books last week.
My Daddy took me out to eat and to Mckays for my birthday!
A little late...my birthday is in November, but I had a great time all the same!
:)

Here are my new books:

The Sherlock Holmes books are awesome!
We saw the movie not long ago -I loved it!
And so, of course, I had to buy two books, each with about 12 stories in them about Sherlock Holmes!
Then I have those three Redwall books, that Seekers book, and a Star Wars book!

Yeah!

Alright! First off -I'm alive.
Just in case you were wondering.
Anyway -about the rubiks-cube-blog-post...I'm going to wait until my Dad gets back in town -he took his biggest cube with him.

However, I will be posting some pictures I just took of out two cats: Ghost and Smokey.

Brothers of Friendship.

Ghost.
The young head-strong, yet sweet-hearted little boy.

Smokey.
The wiser, drooling, calm, and fluffy boy.

Regal rulers of the back porch.

Watchful guardains of the rail.

Brave hunters of the fat rats that hide in our woods.
(Not our pet rats, of course.)
They are our kitties.
