Soooo, guess what? I fisnished the second Pendragon book today! Yes! Now I've started The Red Pyramid, which is written by Rick Riordan; so far, I think it's pretty good! :)
Also, my friend Chris recently sent me this:
Star Wars is awesome, no?
I thought the picture was pretty funny, in fact, lately Chris has been sending me several funny pictures, though this is the only one I saved.
(Though Chris, if you're reading this: the Harry Potter one was hilarious.)
In other news: tomorrow is my weekly CAP meeting, though I doubt I will be able to go. Since Saturday I've had a cold/bad-allergies thingy...and my Mom says that if I'm not completely better by tomorrow morn' then I'm not going. So today when I did call-down for my element I had to let my assistant (yes, I have an assistant -how cool is that?) know that he would need to take over my element if I'm not there tomorrow.
His name is Brandon, though all the cadets call him either Cannon, or the Muffin Boy...it's kind of a long story -but a lot of cadets in our squadron develop nicknames...and Brandon just happens to have two! Lol. Though I do not yet have one. (Good thing, right?)
I'm about to go outside and check on the chickens/goats/ducks, then I'm going to take some pictures! I'll post some soon!
Love, Peace and Potatoes,

Journee.
P.S.
Andrew, you know where that 'Love, Peace, and Potatoes' thing comes from! Lol.
It has been confirmed that I am the new Element Leader for my Element in Civil Air Patrol!
This will be something new to me; I must concentrate on NOT SCREWING UP!
As a Element Leader -some of your responsibilities are to teach drill, lead drill, (oh, good Lord, I really need to practice that!) And give call-downs to inform each Cadet about the next Meeting, pass information up and down the Chain of Command.... Give inspections each Meeting....
I'm very pleased that I was picked to be Element Leader! And I will certainly try very hard to preform my new duties well!
^-^
I am a bit nervous though!
Yesterday evening was my CAP yearly Awards Banquet. (It was a Pot Luck supper too! Yeah!)
Quite a few of our Squadron's cadets were there. And also our Wing Commander, (Whom you see in the picture, he's the one that's NOT saluting.)
The idea of the Banquet is too hand out the big awards -like Cadet of the Year, and all the important senior member awards.
They were also supposed to elect the new Cadet Staff members, like the Element leaders and such. But they didn't, they said they would do that soon. (I hope so)
We listened to a lot of repeated talking -but that was alright. We got to visit, and chat with everybody -it was overall pretty good. (But I wish they would have chosen the new Element Leaders! Gaar!)
Rosie! She got a little wild towards the end of the Banquet -I bet it was all those cookies!
Zeb was a stinker, he ran all over the place!
Here's Quinn giving Michael Braud bunny ears.
Me and Andrew Braud -the soda was great! You can see how alert I was, Mom didn't give me time to smile!
You can see Indy's blue hair! And there's James Braud looking at something on the ground -huh...
It was a pretty good night -but busy!
And we were all very tired by the end of it! (Least I was!)
