The birds are looking better today! I'm thrilled. Yesterday evening (before American Idol came on, of course,) I went ahead and got all the babies out of the Bantam Coop. I put the lavender ameraucanas and the LF white ameraucana in a pen together, and moved the pen across the lot to the less-inhabited side. And put the remaining two opringtons (I have just a hen/roo pair left) and Rico the polish bantam in a little drop-pen, and moved that across the lot also. Last night, I put a jacket in there with them to help with warmth.
I also moved a mottled cochin bantam to a pigeon cage, because he was looking real ill. I excepted him to die, but he's alive and better today, so I let him out to free-range.
Could this be over?
