Journee's Critters

All day yesterday and last night -and now today -the weather has been fighting.
We've had rain and rain. Plus loads of high power wind. Midnight's rabbit cage blew down, along with the wooden stands that hold it up. (Many thanks to my Daddy for helping me put it back up again)
The top blew of of Frizz's cage, and when I went out there he was very wet, and no doubt cold....
It has finally slowed down. But the creek has risen over all of our forest paths (I find that annoying, because so much trash gets washed in!) And over our fire pit.... we have many a large water puddle spread 'cross our land.
I just got back from taking care of the chickens and goats, plus the ducks.The ridge that partway surrounds us is covered and hidden in fog/mist. It's quite pretty actually.

In other news; Tuesday is my CAP Awards Banquet. We will all be wearing our dress uniforms and will be bringing food to this church for a pot-luck supper. It will be fun! And they may even be assigning me, (or maybe my friend Andrew) to the position of Element Leader!

I'm also dog-sitting Dolly. And I will be for some time. So far she is doing great! And has had a good time getting muddy/sobbing wet.

I've also been trying to stay updated on my ratlets that I will soon be getting; though the wait for them to age is driving me mad.
