Fletcher's on the move! Lately his greatest desire in life---other than to learn how to play Halo---is to get to the top of our stairs. He's made it up three steps so far. It's so nerve-wracking! You just can't let him out of your sight. :)

 This little fella aspires to model once he comes of age, I decided to help him out. However, I don't now how the more famous photographers will take his poses---after all, there is a bald curly-feathered chicken blurred in the background.

Beware the Long grass

There are all sorts of critters out here, though we don't see too many snakes.
The dogs found this big girl before we did, isn't she beautiful?

 She's huge: several feet long, and fat as everything. She was found out lounging in the pasture, too sluggish to move for a while. I'm voting that she's either a very large corn-snake, or a king-snake. I'm not positive on which one is correct.

 After Mom snapped a few pictures, I went back out to get some others.




 The bulldogs were very wary of the snake, (apparently having not inherited their father's fierce snake-killing skills!) but Arwen was very interested, and absolutely dying to get a hold of it.
We called them in before she could buck-up and try though.














The snake is gone now, back off into the woods no doubt!
