Duke, such a sweet puppy.
But don't be fooled. He's a trouble maker.

Then there's his partner in crime: Zelda.
She is the real master mind.
She decides what to chew on, and Duke does the chewing.

Here's Albus. My little bantam cross rooster. He just loves strutting around the backyard. He also loves fighting with Obi-wan, the fluffy, white, bantam rooster.
Wizard VS Jedi. Who will win?

An you just can't forget them little ducks!

Not much is going on around here.
We're just getting ready to go out of town, to Mississippi!
Also, Sandy is starting to eat better. She is around 3 weeks old. Mom read up on baby squirrel care on the computer, and we think the little thing is going to bond to my dad! Who was up allot last night caring for her!
|
...We went up to my grandparent's lake to do some swimming and jet skiing.
It rained some. But not enough to stop us!
Here's Gran and Tia.

Here's Magnum, just after a good sand bath.

I, jet skied a lot today. My hands hurt from gripping to handles for dear life (very funny right?)
Here's me, taking Rose for a ride.

OK. Are you ready to be shocked?
Here it goes.
Alright...We have a baby squirrel.
Yup, it's true.
It was raining pretty hard. so we were all sitting in the screened-in building; and we hear this squealing. Duke and Magnum are out in the rain, pawing at something. Mom runs out there and starts yelling, "It's a baby something! It's a baby something! Devin! Come here!" so my dad runs on out there, and brings back in a baby squirrel. We think the little thing was knocked out of it's nest by the rain. It's eyes are still closed. but it has fur.

We named the little thing Sandy.
This is Sandy right after we got her in. She's still wet, and looks like a rat.
Mom went to go buy some food for her; and she seems to be doing alright.
There's still a chance that she won't make it. But I really hope she does! And I'm going to get more pictures soon!

In short.
We had an interesting day!

Midnight. My sweet, fluffy, sometimes grumpy, bunny rabbit.
He's about four years old now; and when I got him he could fit into my hand easily.
As you can see, he appears to be black, but is really a dark brown. His winter coat is a thick brown and black overcoat. Covering his sleek summer fur.
He has one white paw, and a little white spot on his bottom lip and his chest.
He loves scaring my goats and chickens, he thinks it's quite fun.
He used to sleep in my room. but he now sleeps in his cage outside.
I have sleept with him IN MY BED several times before we moved from our neighborhood. He never ran away, so hey, why not?

Norbert. My sweet, scaly, sometimes grumpy, bearded dragon.
In this picture Norbert had just woken up from a afternoon nap, and he's looking rather sleepy.
His color is dark in this picture, but his scales can change to a bright, sandy orange color.
As you can see, his tail looks pale. That's because he's about to shed there.
Bearded dragons shed in small parts when their younger. but they shed in bigger parts as they get older.
This little boy was around eight inches long from snout to tail when I first got him. He's now a good 15 inches. Such a big boy!
He feasts on a diet of crickets and collard greens mixed with apples. Although he does have a special bearded dragon food; I feed it to the crickets, he doesn't like it, and I don't like it, it tastes TERRIBLY! I tried it. Yuck!

I love both of these two little babies very much!
Even if they are both VERY different!

Hmm, hmm, hmmmm.
More dragons. Just for your
enjoyment.This is Wind.
Again with the off-white paper and this time, a W.

And here's Wind after Photo-shop.

She has an orb!

I also fixed the lighting on Breeze.

.......................................................I'm not real sure why I did this to Wind, but...it's kinda cool.

I'm sorry. I posted more Dragons.
I know my blog is called Journee's Critters, but, I keep posting about creatures that don't really exist.
Anyway. Because I need more Dragons, I drew Breeze. A storm-type she-Dragon with a long body, and wild hair.
This is Breeze right after I scanned her into the computer.
My paper is off-white; and you can see the name Breeze up in the top right corner.

So I added some color.
Even through I was picturing Breeze being a light, sky-blue I made her a darker color.
I also colored her gem-thingy.

Then I tilted the picture and darkened her mane and tail. Then I colored her black ribbon, and her black spikes.

Then I cropped her, to make the picture smaller. I colored the background. then I lightened her body.
Then I colored her belly, and added a few small highlights.
Then I made an orb. I don't really know why.

Then I changed the lighting effects, again, because I wanted too.

Ta-daa!

HA! Y'all must be getting tired of seeing dragons.
You remember Deathgait? The evil dragon of death? Yup, here he is, Photo-shopped and glowing.

Here's Snakefury again, and he's glowing, and shining like the stars...kinda.

Yup........well....hmmm.......ah.......grrm......well, ah. That's it!

I have turned Flamespirit into a ice dragon named Frostberry!
Behold it's awesomeness!

It has a shiny
eye!

This is Dustcloud. My simple, hand-drawn she-dragon.

This is Dustcloud after I did some Photo0shopping.
Much better!

Then here's Dustcloud after I did some more Photo-shopping.
She's a LOT darker!

This is Snakefury. My pink tom-dragon. Hand-drawn and easy.
Please note, I did NOT want him to be pink! I picked up a "red" pencil and it was pink!

This is Snakefury after I photo-shopped him!
He looks...Diffrent.

Here's Flamespirit. a dragon I drew, then Photo-shopped.
He doesn't look fiery...

But...now he does!

He looks so cool!
Here's Darksparks again. I did some work on her stained-glass; she is now darker, and harder to see.
