I've been rather behind with my blogging lately!
So, I'll be working on getting caught up today!
For starters---this past Saturday we had another "movie night" and showed the movie Zoom, with Tim Allen.
We ate dinner while waiting for dark to fall; we had a great smorgasbord of pie, BBQ, cupcakes, drinks, and fruit to enjoy, and I must've eaten about half of everything!
We also had the new slip-n-slide, the blue go-cart, and the chickens to entertain everybody! We ended up blowing the go-cart out (Dad thinks he can fix it though) later in the evening, but it was ridden hard until then!
We certainly all had a great time, and here are some pictures! I did have a video put together, but for some reason I couldn't get it uploaded to anything!

We're planning the next movie night now!

Yesterday Dad took Quinn and I out whitewater-rafting down the Ocoee! It was a ton of fun, especially since it was our first time! Dad has been down the river too many times to count---he used to guide it, and so knew every little trick and bend, and was being quite knowledgeable. :)
Dad and I sat up front, and Quinn sat right behind Dad. We had four other people with us, not including the guide, but the raft was huge and we certainly weren't crowded. We got to ride the bull, too, which is to sit up on the front of the raft. That was really cool, and Quinn got to ride up there through one of the biggest holes in the river. Hell's Hole. *Cue music*. Many thanks to Dad for taking us out there! :)
After rafting, we got some lunch and fireworks and came on home! Here's to hoping we get to do it all again sometime! :)

Edited*: Oh, and I would like to mention: nobody fell off! :)

This is Willow's prized carrot that she and Mom grew in our garden. Willow ate the whole thing raw.
It was quite a feat.

This is Annais! She is mine and Quinn's best friend. I can't remember ever meeting her, so I count that as knowing her forever---kinda like my cousin Jordan!
Annais and the rest of her family came over a couple days ago to hang out, and visit. Me, Quinn, and Annais spent most our while catching up with each other since we haven't talked for a long time----and eating! And taking pictures.
I tried to get some good pictures of Annais's two brothers, and her sister, playing with the rest of my siblings and our cousin Ethan---but they wouldn't hold still! There was major lightsaber ninja battles going on, and they didn't have time for me. :)
We had a great time, reliving old memories, and laughing at a ridiculous dream I had that past night...
It was all very fun and I hope they can come over again sometime soon.
