By an extreme turn of fate, Hermione the goat is actually being active today. Following me around the Chicken Lot in the simmering heat, aggravating some chickens, and begging for more food.
Meanwhile, I caught Leia hiding in the spool, sleeping.
Typically, it's the other way around.
Normally I'M sleeping in the spool, Hermione's taking pictures, and Leia's out to get pizza.
Wait, that could've just been a dream.
It's possible. We should ponder this further...

I just caught this little varmint trying to sneak two hand-fulls of partly frozen popsicles from the garage.
I called his name, and he ran and threw them under the garage door, which was blissfully cracked just wide enough for the chicken laying her egg in there, to get out.
I called his name like this:
"ZEBULUN KING! What are you doing, boy?"
He panicked. Understandable. My voice can be very deep and intimidating when the time comes.
I put the popsicles away, then took the picture posted above---and promptly came inside to tell Mom of her son's devious plan to smuggle all the poor popsicles into the heat, and away from their frigid freezer.
She brought him inside.
He wasn't pleased. He's trouble, there's no doubt.

Meanwhile, the hen in the garage was just chillin'. The only witness.

My Mom took some nice pictures of some of her new, pretty flowers yesterday, and I figured I'd post a few. :)

Here are some pictures I took of kitties Cricket and Ghost yesterday evening as they played in the front yard.

Today we had two friends over to play video games!
Timmy and John brought soda, and chips (extra "gaming food") and we all (Quinn included) burrowed away in the nice, clean basement to play Xbox on the projector screen for four 1/2 hours. We played a mishmash of Halo Reach and Left 4 Dead 2. A very riveting collection collection of battles went on, from slaying zombies to getting "stuck" with a plasma grenade in the face. We had a great time, and plan on trying to do it again sometime!

The Plague has been eliminated, and so I decided it was time to move the hulsey chicks outside. They spent a nice warm day in a drop-pen enjoying the grass, but today with the rain and storms coming in I decided to move them, and the other chicks I hatched, into the Bantam Coop, which I'm pretty sure is cleaned of enough germs from the sickness to be okay.
All the hulseys are turning out to be very handsome, and wild. They weren't too pleased with their new coop-mates, Rico and his crew, and were fighting them. These hulseys are very tiny still: barely babies. They were kicking some serious butt too, I don't know what I'm going to do with them, the little punks. :)
I just better keep an eye on everybody I reckon, lol.

Tuesday my family got to drive up to Huntsville Alabama and go see the big Space Museum there. :)
We went with the Kitts family, and so that was awesome---they used to live very close by to us: in fact, their house was smashed by the recent tornadoes. We're all continuously happy that they weren't living there anymore at the time it happened.
The Space Museum was really cool, and had lots of stuff to look at and mess with----if the little publicschoolers would allow you to, you know, mess with them.
There was also a traveling dinasour exhibit, and we got to go see that too----and do some rock-climbing, with was awesome. And for lunch, we went to a very nice place called 88 Buffet. They had what must've been the best cookie-dough ice-cream ever.
That's Andrew above, and Logan below. Both have managed to get very deep voices, and Andrew's now taller then me. It wasn't always like that...I used to be much bigger then both of them, lol.
Rose really loved the Moon-Buggy racing game; she had to stretch a lot to reach the peddles, but it was worth it.
We even found a really cool ride that Zeb and Rose were big enough to get on. They had a blast.
Zeb had a great time, and was fully enjoying himself. You can see it in his face.
I had a great time also, and you can see it in my face! :)
