Just some pictures I took quickly of Cricket, resting by the backdoor.

He's lost weight---but is still kind of fat.

Sisterly Love

Some Halo assassinations my spartan preformed today... I was playing against Indy, Willow, and Rose + a friend of theirs via Xbox Live.

My Xbox gamertag is SavageBracelet.

The person with the knife is me. That's Rose I'm holding.

That was on a Infection match; me getting Indy because she wasn't watching her radar. Lol.

 I'm pretty merciless.

And even Willow got her fair-share of being assassinated. It was a airborne assault, and the screen-shot was taken right before I pulled out my knife.

 That's me lasering Indy.

And right after I pummeled Rose right into the air.

In my defense, they were not on my team; I had every right to kick their bums. ;) Quinn was at art-class, and so I couldn't try and get a assassination on her.
Next time though, next time.

Night Fairies' Gift *
1/21/2011 | Author:
Little Joy said, "when I woke up early this morning, it was just getting light, and when I looked out into the field - I noticed that the grass and the flowers were full of stars. It was very pretty, and I wanted to bring you a few of those stars. When day finally came, I went in to the garden; but I was very disappointed to find that all the stars had gone. Do you know what happened to them? Where have they gone?"
And then the white-winged horse replied: "The stars that you saw are the gifts of the night fairies, who threw them on the ground for the dawn as it opens the gates, for the coming of the sun." ~

A excerpt from a little short-story I wrote for *cough* roleplay. I have a character that tells a lot of stories, so this came up. I photo-shopped the above picture a bit to suit the story better.

Blueberry Goblin
1/20/2011 | Author:
Today my mom made a very yummy blueberry cake.

The fork was so awed by the cake's awesomeness it could barely uphold its duties.
It took some serious coaching to make sure everything turned out okay.
But the blueberry cake did have some unforeseen side-effects.
It. Turned. People. Into. Blueberry cake. Goblins.
The transformation was quick, and Quinn's face contorted into this wince of goblin-ness after taking a bite....

It might take a while for it to wear off.

However, it seems that the effects of eating the blueberry cake were different on various people.
Indy, took on a wide-eyed look while just getting a whiff of the tantalizing cake---she hadn't even taken a bite yet. Such was the cake's power.

It also seems that the younger you are, the more unlikely are to be turned into a goblin. Rose, along with Zeb, seems to be completely immune. Even daring to pick up the cake in her bare hand, and shove it into her mouth.

Zeb cut right to the chase, and slayed the cake before eating it by stabbing it with his spoon.
It was a dramatic, and cheesy two-star action/fantasy film, but totally worth it.
The cake was, after all, very good.

Could've Been Blue
1/20/2011 | Author:
I went outside, and got to burn all sorts of trash and old boxes, various plastic bags, and those little Styrofoam packing-peanuts, that pretty much melt, and fast, among other stuff.

This is a picture of the fire before it got too impressive and big---I wouldn't want to make my fellow pyromaniac friends jealous because of how much fun I was having. So, there you have it.

Or, the fire could have looked like this:

You can't prove me any different. ;) Blue fires appear very often in the south, don't you know. It might have been caused by the packing-peanuts.
Or Photoshop. But that's highly unlikely.
Pfft.

Either way, this chicken's the only eye-witness: and she's not talking.
So you'll never know for sure..

Starting to Thaw in GA
1/14/2011 | Author:
The snow's starting to melt here, and I suspect by a week from now all the snow will be gone; but not the cold, goodness knows, I nearly froze taking care of the critters this morning...course that might have had something to do with me wearing pajamas and my jacket instead of jeans and a T-shirt + the same jacket....

Anyways, here are a few pictures of Cricket and Smokey, who were toughin' it outside while Ghost continued to sneak inside and keep warm.
The ginger and white cat Cricket had recently recovered from breaking his leg, and is now back to running around and jumping like normally, though he still favors it from time to time.

Smokey's the hardest to take pictures of, because he persists on moving and not staying still.

Back from Arkansas
1/13/2011 | Author:
Yup---we're back! :) Got back Tuesday, safe and sound, despite the snow. Which has been amazing, btw, lol.
Here are a few pictures from our last few days in Arkansas:

We played some charades, and Jill sat in my lap for part of the time. She was quite the sweetheart through the whole trip, though I think she wasn't sure what to do with so many people around!

Zeb was as silly as ever, and really enjoyed playing on the air hockey table with Clair. Repeat: on. Couldn't hardly get the two little buggers off the thing! Lol. :)

Quinn had a really complicated charade move. A dog. She'd barely gotten all fours before someone had guessed it!

Jordan had a hard one too, and even enlisted Clair's help.
He was a horse.
Neigh. ;)

Ethan loved playing charades, and that there has to be one of the greatest pictures ever: way too funny, lol. :)

Both Clair and Zeb played outside a lot in the snow, both of thing nearly freezing their hands off in the process, lol. They're okay though, and still have all 10 fingers.

I haven't a clue as to where the sombrero (spelling?) came from. But I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of Jordan in it anyways while I was photographing Clair for my cousin Megan.

She loved having her picture taken, I think. :)

And me and Jordan both discovered that he can make a very good impression of Carlton Lassiter from Psych. Good job, Shawn. ;)

I just look silly though. Lol. I found another hat that makes my head look about a million times bigger then it already was. ;)
